ECA Medical, manufacturer of single-use instruments and sterile, surgery-ready procedural kits for securing medical device implants, has shipped the first sterile, surgery-ready Revcon Screw System instrument kits to Voom Medical Devices, Inc.
The Revcon Screw System Instrument Kit consists of an optimized and tailored set of sterile packed instruments for procedure prep and implant fixation and a novel targeting guide to help surgeons with bony alignment and implant placement. All items were developed specifically to enhance the patented Bunionplasty 360 Repair procedure.
Designed for use in the outpatient setting, the Voom instrument sets are packaged in a double sterile barrier tray to enhance procedure flow and operating room turnover, allowing up to 2x cases per day to be performed by a single surgeon compared to traditional methods.
Voom Medical Devices is the exclusive distributor of the Revcon Screw System Instrument kit and expects first surgeries to begin as early as April 2025.
