Precision Medical Technologies Invests in Quality Improvements

Precision Medical Technologies announced that it concluded the purchase of over $1.5 million worth of capital equipment. The investment includes two-VEI Laser Mark Inspection Machines, Micro-Vues, two additional CMMs, comparators and Prolink SPC Stations. In addition to the capital purchases, PreMedTec also completed the validations of its ISO Class 7 Cleanroom.

“Expanding capacities and capabilities over the past few years has enabled PreMedTec to continue offering high quality, custom implants and instruments with industry leading delivery times.” said Ryan Thornburgh, President, PreMedTec. “The enhancements in quality equipment should allow for more robotic inspection, thus allowing higher repeatability and increasing throughput, while minimizing variation throughout the manufacturing process.”

PreMedTec also completed validations of its ISO class 7 cleanroom offering pre-validated packaging materials, including pre-defined boxes and cartons with labeling. This includes full vision inspection and verification of sterile packed products. Pre-validated worst-case coupons including ultrasonic cleaning, sterile packaging and sterilization dose mapping.
