About Us

Precision Medical Technologies is a contract manufacturer of orthopedic implants and instruments, with a focus on spine, extremities, trauma and sports medicine. We are ISO:13485:2016 Certified. Our three separate instrument, implant and disposable divisions allow us to focus technical resources which drives high quality, cost effective production. We understand the exacting requirements for instruments and implants, and the need for customs, specials and prototypes with quick deliveries.

Implant Division Services

Our Implant Division’s strategy is to minimize variation in the manufacturing process in order to drive high quality performance. The primary objective is to reduce or eliminate job changes, manufacture on dedicated equipment and complete the implant production in one operation. Statistical monitoring of the process provides our Engineers with the data to improve quality and productivity. All equipment and processes are validated for IQ, OQ, PQ.

Instrument Division

The Instrument Division Consists of two Facilities (Rome City and North Manchester, IN), which are truly a job shop environment with normal order quantities of 10, 20, or 50 units with multiple components. This product mix requires constant changes or set-ups on CNC equipment; the low volumes require a 100% check of critical dimensions at the machine. The concentration of effort in this business is in the areas of consistent machine set-ups and high quality efficient production on the back shifts. All instrument equipment and processes are validated for IQ, OQ, PQ.
