Norwood Medical Appoints Gregg Olson as VP Sales & Marketing

Norwood Medical announced the appointment of Gregg Olson as Vice President of Sales & Marketing.

Olson, a MedTech Contract Design & Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) commercial veteran, brings decades of experience to Norwood Medical. For over 20 years he has led high-performing business development teams in the medical device and medical technology sector. His responsibilities at Norwood will focus on new business development, including revenue growth strategies, sales team development, key account management and marketing.

Prior to joining Norwood Medical, Gregg was the Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Velocity MedTech, a designer and manufacturer of surgical implants and custom sterilization systems for the orthopedic medical device segment. He previously held senior leadership positions in sales/business development at other medical device contract design and manufacturers, including Confluent Medical Technologies, TekniPlex, Vention Medical and Flex.

Norwood Medical has significantly expanded its Dayton facilities to support growing demand for manufacturing medical components and devices for minimally-invasive surgical procedures, robotic-assisted surgeries and orthopedics. The company’s 11th building, a 72,000 square-foot manufacturing facility, has been constructed and will be operational by mid-2024, bringing the campus total to 700,000 square feet.

Commenting on Olson’s appointment, Norwood Medical CEO Jim Kircher noted that the company’s expertise and performance will benefit additional demanding medtech OEMs, driving the need to invest in and strengthen Norwood’s business development team. He said, “Norwood Medical has been a trusted partner to our medical device customers because of our commitment to innovation and manufacturing excellence. With Gregg’s MedTech commercial experience, we are in a great position to serve and support new strategic customer partnerships.”
