
Marle Group acquired Tennessee-based Elite Medical. The transaction brings to 11 the number of of global production facilities owned by Marle that are exclusively focused on orthopedic, trauma and spine implant and instrument manufacturing for OEMs worldwide.
Elite Medical, now known as Marle Elite, is a vertically integrated contract manufacturer with three ISO 13485 facilities: two in the Memphis, Tennessee area and one in Florence, Alabama. Established in 2009, Marle Elite focuses on orthopedic implants, surgical instrument assembly, coatings and a silicone handle cell for instruments.
Marle now has four U.S. facilities and 200 American employees to support its U.S. customers. This acquisition supports Marle’s research and innovation, product development, prototyping, various manufacturing platforms (additive, forging, casting and subtractive machining), inspection and quality, and packaging and delivery of finished product.
Marle intends to continue its strategic acquisitions and partnerships to expand its portfolio.
