Oxford Performance Materials (OPM) received a 3-year, $150,000 grant from the National Institutes of Health to explore new approaches to improve the treatment of infections related to artificial hips, knees and other implanted devices through advanced applications of 3D printed poly-ether-ketone-ketone (PEKK). The NIH grant will support research developing new approaches for the delivery of antibiotics through OPM’s 3D printed PEKK implants. (Source: Oxford Performance Materials)
