GE Additive has inaugurated a new campus in Lichtenfels, Germany. The 40,000-square-meter site will house GE Additive Concept Laser teams.
GE Additive continues to invest in its manufacturing facilities in Europe and North America to meet increasing demand for its technologies. The Lichtenfels opening follows establishment of a new facility in Gothenburg, Sweden as a center of excellence for Arcam EBM products.
GE Additive Lichtenfels has capacity for up to 700 employees. Production transition from the current Concept Laser site will continue throughout 2019, with office accomodations complete in 2020.
