Jarvis Surgical Plant Expansion Underway

Jarvis Surgical commenced its 15,000-square-foot expansion in 2Q16. The additional space will house new manufacturing equipment and up to 24 new employees as Jarvis seeks to diversify their customer base while meeting needs of present customers.

The expansion has received support from a $2.2 million bond from MassDevelopment, the economic development agency for Massachusetts. Construction is expected to complete in August.

Jarvis Surgical offers manufacturing and polishing of orthopaedic implants and instruments. The company can provide both production and prototype parts as required, specializing in concurrent engineering for optimum performance and manufacturability.
