WebOps Acquired by Banyan Software

Banyan Software Acquires WebOps

Earlier this year Banyan Software, an acquirer and operator of mission-critical software businesses, acquired WebOps, a specialized inventory management platform serving medical device manufacturers and distributors.

Founded in 2006 and based in Atlanta, Georgia, WebOps offers an end-to-end solution for managing high-value surgical inventory primarily within the orthopedic space. The platform supports coordination across warehouse teams, field representatives, and logistics providers, enabling real-time visibility and control. Capabilities include warehouse and consignment inventory tracking, loaner kit management, automated updates, and seamless case coordination.

The Founder of WebOps, Gordon Ford and CEO, Eric Anderson, commented, “Finding the right long-term home for WebOps was incredibly important to us. From our earliest conversations, it was clear that Banyan understands what makes our business and team special. Their thoughtful approach and commitment to preserving what we’ve built give us great confidence in the road ahead, for our employees, our customers, and the mission we care deeply about.”
