Lifespans is launching Alfonso Cloud, a self-service portal for implant testing that the company describes as an industry-first, providing the next level of convenience to streamline orthopedic implant testing.
Alfonso Cloud builds on the “particle-based” computer model of bone tissue which lies at the core of the Alfonso implant simulator platform. With Alfonso Cloud, implant designers can upload a model to the secure confidential cloud system, select which ASTM foam, or cadaveric models to run, and receive an ever-expanding range of results up to 10x faster vs. traditional testing labs and often, within the same day.
