Stryker completed its acquisition of Wright Medical last week, a little over a year after the transaction was announced. The purchase, the largest in orthopedics in recent years, boosts Stryker’s joint replacement and trauma extremities portfolio across implants, biologics and enabling technology.
In anticipation of the acquisition announcement, we started to think about the M&A activity that has shaped orthopedics’ largest companies in the last five years.
