Medical Tracking Solutions (MTS) entered into a partnership with Life Science Outsourcing (LSO), a contract manufacturer and third-party distributor of medical devices, to launch a first-of-its-kind West Coast loaner kit operation using MTS’ iTraycer software and LSO facilities based in Brea, California. The collaboration is focused on small to mid-sized medical device companies.
LSO provides services for medical device manufacturing, package testing, sterilization validation, fulfillment and distribution, cleaning and decontamination, etc. Using LSO’s 10,000-square-foot warehouse will put inventory close to sales reps. Customers will benefit from improvements in shipping costs and cut-off times to support their West Coast sales teams.
iTraycer is an inventory management system that provides real-time tracking of medical devices and biologics, visible by part, lot and serial numbers, providing traceability from manufacturer to patient and supporting tracking, ordering and replenishment.
