Carpenter Aligns with Samuel, Son & Co for Additive Manufacturing Supply Chain Solutions

Carpenter Technology and Samuel, Son & Co. announced a strategic alliance to provide end-to-end supply chain solutions for the additive manufacturing marketplace. Samuel’s recent purchase agreement with Burloak Technologies, supplier of highly-engineered additive manufacturing solutions, supports the initiative.

Carpenter is a global producer of powder metals and specialty wire for additive manufacturing, while Samuel provides manufacturing, metal processing and distribution on top of Burloak’s additive manufacturing design and development capabilities. Combined, the partners will offer access to R&D and design engineering capabilities across numerous industries, including medical.
