Amplitude Surgical Acquires 50% Stake in SOFAB Orthopedie

Amplitude Surgical acquired a 50% stake in SOFAB Orthopedie, an industrial subcontractor.

Founded in 2007 in France’s Rhone valley, SOFAB incorporates FIRM Industrie, POLI ALPES and POLI-TECH, all ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certified manufacturers of implants and ancillary devices, with services ranging from machining to polishing and engraving. SOFAB generates annual revenue of ~€5MM (~US $5.3MM), of which 80% comes from Amplitude Surgical.

The SOFAB group employs ~80 staff and generates annual revenue of ~€5MM (~US $5.3MM), 80% of which comes from Amplitude Surgical. Yann Quinkal, General Director, will continue to head this activity in close collaboration with the Amplitude Surgical teams.
