XL Precision Technologies opened a new facility in West Chester, Pennsylvania, to serve the North American medical device market and expand the company’s overall worldwide capacity.
The facility is now operational and will have production processes running by 4Q16. Current capabilities in high speed milling, EDM machining, laser welding and laser marking will be enhanced with plastic induction welding, chemical finishing and precision grinding.

Laser processing capabilities such as laser welding and marking are known for their precision, ability to produce long-lasting, complex devices and instruments and to assist with Unique Device Identification (UDI) compliance initiatives.
