Scott Shankle Joins Orchid as Chief Quality, Regulatory and EH&S Officer

Orchid Orthopedic Solutions, designer and manufacturer of orthopedic implants, announced that Scott Shankle joined the company as Chief Quality, Regulatory and EH&S Officer on July 17, 2023.

Scott comes to Orchid from Microport Orthopedics (MPO), where he served as the Vice President of Operations. Previously, Scott was in charge of Global Quality at MPO. He has held manufacturing, engineering and quality leadership roles at both Wright Medical and MPO. Mr. Shankle has served as a member of the OMTEC® Advisory Board for the past seven years.

Scott earned his BS and MS in Engineering Technology from the University of Memphis and completed the Executive Education Program from Vanderbilt University.
