Lithoz Acquires CerAMing and Layer-wise Slurry Deposition Print Technology

Lithoz Acquires CerAMing

Lithoz, a global provider of ceramic 3D printing services, acquired CerAMing, patent holder of the Layer-wise Slurry Deposition (LSD)-Print ceramic 3D printing process.

Lithoz offers materials with application in the printing of spinal and craniomaxillofacial implants, including resorbable devices.

With the acquisition of CerAMing, Lithoz can now offer an all-from-one-source portfolio of complementary processes in 3D printing for advanced ceramics, with LSD-Print technology joining its Lithography-based Ceramic Manufacturing (LCM) process and the Laser-Induced Slipcasting (LIS) technology that was released in 2022.

Lithoz CEO Dr. Johannes Homa said, “Lithoz is expanding its technology portfolio through strategic acquisition for the first time. We see this technology as another key pillar in the realization of our vision to enable geographically independent, yet fully digitally connected global serial production in the ceramics industry.”
