CaP Biomaterials is now ISO 13485:2016 certified and has strengthened its management team with the appointment of Director of R&D, Jon Proxmire.
U.S.-based CaP Biomaterials, LLC is going through a transformative growth phase in its 15-year existence as a contract manufacturer of calcium phosphates for the medical device market. CaP is now an ISO 13485:2016 Certified company, and is constructing an additional manufacturing hall of over 11,000 square feet. This hall is focused on large volume production and blending activities, and has a modular approach capable of quickly adding new processes as needed. CaP will offer customers the ability to outsource their manufacturing, including availability of private manufacturing suites and dedicated equipment, if preferred.
To further enable these ambitious growth plans, Mr. Jon Proxmire has been hired as the Director of R&D. A Marquette University graduate, Jon brings over a decade of experience working with bone grafts, cement and injectable products in the medical device field. He is skilled in leading cross-functional teams to bring manufacturing projects to market and has a strong background in biomedical engineering, biomechanics, & biomaterials.
At CaP, Mr. Proxmire will expand the capacity to work on customer-focused research and take customer requests from concept to completion.
