EPTAM Precision Solutions has acquired Mendell Machine and Manufacturing, a medical component manufacturer located in Lakeville, Minnesota that specializes in precision CNC micro-machining of implantable devices for the orthopedic and other medical markets. The transaction provides a one-stop shop for orthopedic, minimally invasive surgery and robotic-assisted surgery components.
EPTAM is an outsourced manufacturer of medical devices, implants, single-use medical disposable devices and other high-precision components. The company has expertise with polymer machining, precision metal machining and injection molding, and offers a range of value-added services such as process validation, design-for-assembly, cleanroom assembly and technical program management solutions. EPTAM has operations in New Hampshire, Colorado, and New Jersey.
With the acquisition, EPTAM expands and diversifies its portfolio of capabilities, offering customers a single partner for their high-precision metals and plastics manufacturing requirements. Mendell’s core focus in precision CNC micro-machining for medical applications brings industry-leading expertise to the EPTAM team.
