Ireland-based Schivo Medical acquired Supreme Screw Products (SSP), located in Plainview, New York, a supplier of precision machining, laser processing and assembly services for the medical device market.
Schivo is a contract manufacturer offering design, development and manufacturing of complex components, instruments and sub-assemblies for life science OEMs. SSP manufactures a variety of medical components for various surgical applications, including orthopedic instruments, spine screws, hooks and rods and bone screws.
Investment bank Kinsella Group advised Schivo on the transaction.

SSP’s two manufacturing facilities in Plainview, New York will be added to Schivo’s footprint in Ireland. SSP will complement Schivo’s existing capabilities for minimally invasive surgery and life science markets.
