
GE Additive unveiled the Arcam PRS 30, a new automated powder recovery station to create a closed system that contains powder exposure for operators working in additive manufacturing environments.
First deliveries are expected in 2Q20. Key features of the system include:
Increased automation
- Automated blasting
- Self-diagnostics and easier troubleshooting
Simplified cleaning
- Automatic cleaning of the blast chamber
- Exchangeable cyclone and tubes
- A combined blasting and air cleaning nozzle
Improved ergonomics
- New, improved human-machine interface
- Improved visibility, work light and larger window
