Five Star Companies Achieves ISO 13485:2016 Certification

Five Star Companies, a New Bedford, Massachusetts-based contract manufacturer of implants and instruments, received ISO 13485:2016 Certification.

The Certification allows Five Star to continue its “ongoing focus on better serving its customers’ need for quality and compliance,” according to company leadership.

Five Star’smanufacturing capabilities include EDM; CMM; laser marking, engraving and welding; 5-axis CNC machining; and software including AutoCAD, SolidWorks and MasterCAM. Five Star also specializes in surgical and powered instrument repair, special modifications, restoration and preventive maintenance.
