LaVezzi Precision Acquired by MW Industries

LaVezzi Precision, a contract manufacturer of high-precision medical and surgical implants and instrument components, has been acquired by MW Industries, provider of highly engineered springs, specialty fasteners, machined parts and other precision components.

LaVezzi will join the MW Medical Solutions brand and will continue operations in its Bloomingdale, Illinois facility.

LaVezzi is ISO 13485 Certified and works with materials such as titanium, surgical-grade stainless steel, implantable and non-implantable plastics to manufacture implants, components and tools. Founded over 100 years ago as a manufacturer of components for motion picture projectors, LaVezzi reinvented itself in the mid-1980s as a supplier to the medical device market.
