Precision Medical Technologies (PreMedTech), a contract manufacturer of orthopaedic implants and instruments, has announced plans to expand its operations by investing nearly $5 million in a new manufacturing space that will create up to 60 jobs by 2022, according to the company.
PreMedTech has current facilities in Warsaw and Rome City, Indiana. The expansion includes purchase and renovation of a 9,000-square-foot space in North Manchester, Indiana. The site will house CNC machinery and related equipment to support new operations for disposable surgical instruments, and is expected to be fully operational by early 2018.
Precision Medical Technologies’ current manufacturing of implants and reusable instruments will continue at its existing sites. PreMedTech focuses on the spine, extremity and trauma markets.
