Jade Precision Medical Components (JPMC) has added four new Makino N2-5XA machines to their high-precision machining shop in Pennsylvania.
The Makino N2-5XA machines are used for medical part machining of orthopaedic implant parts and high-volume die-cast components. The N2-5XA features a 20,000 rpm HSK-40A spindle that works with the AI Contour Control and 1.4G Z-axis acceleration to produce complex geometries. The machines are compact, filling just 26 square feet of floor space each, giving JPMC room to house seven in total.
