DEKRA Expands Lab for Material Testing and Damage Analysis

DEKRA is expanding its laboratory in Saarbrücken with a new field emissions scanning electron microscope (SEM). The SEM offers in-depth insights with applications including fractured surface investigations, surface characterization and residue identification. This will allow more detailed analysis options for customers in high-tech industries such as coatings, nanotechnology and medical devices.

The DEKRA laboratory is accredited by the German accreditation body DAkkS, and celebrated its 25th anniversary this year.
