Nordson Has Acquired Vention Medical’s Advanced Technologies Business

In early 2Q17, Nordson completed its acquisition of Vention Medical’s Advanced Technologies (AT) business.

Vention AT and Nordson MEDICAL share several common customers. The kyphoplasty specialty is just one among Vention AT’s broad base of end-markets, complementing Nordson’s orthobiologics delivery solution that includes the OsteoXpress Graft Delivery Device.

Other products supplied by AT include minimally invasive interventional delivery devices, catheters and other medical components.

The Vention AT/Nordson transaction was announced at the same time as Medplast’s agreement to acquire Vention Medical’s Device Manufacturing Services business.
