Vistek Medical to Expand, Relocate to Dayton, Ohio

Vistek Medical, a contract manufacturer of medical implants and components for the orthopaedic, spinal, trauma and extremities markets, announced its strategic relocation to Dayton, Ohio, effective January 1, 2016. The move will include new 5-Axis milling machines, EDM and broader finishing and packaging capabilities.

Vistek’s prior expansion, in 1Q14, also included 5-Axis milling machines as well as a new Coordinate Measuring Machine for its Quality lab. In 1Q15, the company achieved a manufacturing milestone of 2 million medical components produced.
