Arcam Customer Receives China’s 1st Regulatory Approval for EBM Manufactured Orthopaedic Implant

Beijing AK Medical received approval by the Chinese State FDA for the 3D ACT hip system, reportedly the 1st approval in China for an additively-manufactured orthopaedic implant. AK Medical is a customer of Arcam, provider of Additive Manufacturing solutions for production of metal components.
